The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith has Hadley missing her flight across the pond where she is to be a bridesmaid at her father's second marriage to a woman she has never met.
Cue Oliver, cute, British, and sitting next to her on the flight she is now on from JFK to Heathrow, where she will only have matter of only a few hours to get across London from the airport to a Kensington church for the wedding she really does not want to be a part of.
It is a sappy meet-cute story of two teenagers, one American, still angry at her parents divorce, and the other British, who is a student at Yale, who share a transatlantic trip where they have a connection but can it last beyond a flight and parting ways at passport control in one of the busiest airports in the world?
I owned a copy of this book and listened to it on cloudLibrary. I read this for prompt 34, timeframe spans a week of less, for the 52 Book Club Reading Challenge 2024.
