Final book in the series. I enjoyed it overall and liked the storyline. I just didn’t really like the “villain” at first and how it was portrayed because like, they had valid points and reasons for doing what they did and I definitely could see this written from their view and them being the “hero” instead for the most part (what they end up doing puts them firmly in villain category though but the other stuff really doesn’t imo).

CW: human trafficking, abortion discussed (also in a way that makes it seem terrible which I didn’t like)

Only thing I didn’t really like was how Camilla having an abortion was just one more evil thing she’s done. Abortion isn’t evil and bad. She was evil for many reasons but not wanting a kid isn’t one of them. Wanting her own empire also isn’t one of them so honestly I did find it a little hard to truly hate her for those things. I honestly thought I wasn’t really going to hate her much at all but the human trafficking twist sealed the deal there.

Yasss mafia romance!!! Finishing out my first mafia series, this book was good. The ending was very predictable, especially with everything that had been *going on*. I’ve definitely never read anything like this before, and it was definitely a ~unique~ type of romance lol. The spice was fantastic, and the story was overall cohesive throughout each book. I thought it was cool that Grace was made out to be a badass and not just relying on her men to stand up for her. I enjoyed these books!

This book was enjoyable, but the beginning was very plot heavy compared to the other books. I wish the plot had been spread between this book and the one before it so that it was more digestible. Overall, i liked this series and will probably read more from this author.
