Oh, funny and funnier because it's true. Mom, Dad, Grandma, even their neighbor are all fixated on baby Sam's first word: will be it "mama"? Will it be "papa"? Will it be "nana"? Will it be "Mister Theotopolous"? They're SO fixated that they're absolutely not listening to what Sam is urgently trying to tell them.
I'm adding this to the laugh-out-loud list. Kids are going to laugh at this because poop. Adults will laugh because they're recognize themselves in Sam's parents (probably).

I give this one 5 starts because it was funny and also something I think the kids will laugh about. I loved the illustrations in this one as well. Very worth the read.

Guaranteed to be a hit with the kiddos in storytime (but maybe not so much the parents.)
