I love these books so much, and the story between Vlad and his wife Elena is heartwarming. This book has good laughs and is a loveable second chance romance, marriage of convenience, and take of child hood friends to lovers. I felt some of the plot was weird, mainly in regard to Elena’s journalism work. However, this was a great feel-good read!

Also, Gavin’s stutter is back. I greatly appreciated this.

I loved the storyline of elena’s dad and how elena and vlad were raised together and yet I do wish there was more scenes with glad’s parents.  Glad and his friend group was the best part, especially how they would talk out vlad’s feelings and fears. I also read liked how elena slowly opened up to michelle and the others.

weirdly heavy in the final part of the book, featuring kidnapping etc. not by the main guy obviously it’s by some evil people but why? feels extremely out of place. romance was fine, characters alright and loved the underground cheese-shop plot line of course. overall a perfectly satisfying read but nothing that will stay on my mind neither in a positive nor negative way.
