Rushed
I fell in love with Saint throughout the series and was so excited for his book. I think maybe I had really high expectations for the baddest of the boys. The relationship was so rushed and forced. I didn't feel the connection and the chemistry between the characters like I did the others in this series. I mean don't get me wrong, I love that he settles down and changes his ways but he was basically living with her on the second day. He never asked about the baby daddy? Then her mom was overprotective and worried but then later says she wasn't involved. I would have liked to know more about why Reeves was so abrasive and protective then..he basically didn't have a relationship with her... Many holes here for me. Always a fan of Kendall though and will continue to support her books. <3

In the previous books of this series, we have seen hints that Saint, the playboy, has another side to him. He is now my favorite of all! Saint has been sidelined from his partying ways by the heads of his team- they have threatened him with suspension from the team if any of his antics make the news or gossip columns. While laying low he runs into Kinley, who is new to his building. Kinley is about to be a single mother, having become pregnant by someone who has bailed on her and the baby she is about to have. She has just moved to Boston to be closer to her brother and knows no one else in the city other than him.
Kinley and Saint immediately hit it off and form a friendship. Not long after, their attraction grows and just when they start for something more, complications arise for both of them. This was such a sweet, slow burn, friends to lovers romance. I loved watching their relationship grow and seeing how Saint grows and change with his attraction to Kinley. He is incredibly caring and protective of Kinley. I loved how much time they spent together growing as friends before becoming more. This romance really tugs at your heartstrings.
I received an Advance Reader Copy and have voluntarily left an honest review.

The last person Saint ever thought he would fall for would be the pregnant sister of the teammate who hates him the most. Add in that the team has also threatened him with a suspension if he does not cleanup his man whore ways and the reader is left with a heart felt story about finding love when you least expect it. But will Kinley allow her brother's hatred for Saint override her feelings? Or will Saint not only win over Kinley but the others on the team as well? With an adorable and heartwarming storyline this was a fabulous read. Kendall Ryan once again knows just how to lock her readers in and take them on a magical journey. I just loved Saint and Kinley!!
