Really enjoying this fast trip into the past. Revising a few favorites of when I was a kid. This trio really did grab me and bought all and read all of their books.
It is ideal for kids ages 9 to 14 or so, and still very engaging though there are changes in technology and mentality that wouldn't hold this one probably. Kids today are less superstitious and know a great more deal of technology.

Three investigators, Five Find outers and Famous Five were my earliest companions. Although none of them made me Sherlock today, it was a world that I had for myself while growing up.

Coming to this book, the first story to introduce Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw and Bob Andrews where they're hired to investigate a haunted house. Suffice to say, things don't go well.

There is a certain happy-go-lucky kinda vibe in these books that is infectious. While I was reading, I already knew that there won't be back- stabbings or plot twists or politics. It would be like things fall in place because it is supposed to. Luck rides on the shoulders of the young.

I'm planning to revisit the entire series and try to finish it off this year along with some of my other favorites of the good old days including Hardy Boys

Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, and Trixie Belden have nothing on The Three Investigators! I was in love with these books as a kid and I’m pleased to see they still hold up (and somehow still have surprising elements for this seasoned mystery reader?) I can’t wait to reread their second case next.

A fun children's mystery with lots of twists and turns. I remember reading this as a child and couldn't remember the title, so I had to do a little bit of detective work myself to find it! Jupiter Jones may not be Encyclopedia Brown, but he's better than the Hardy brothers!
