Super cute. I normally like enemies to lovers but this friends to lovers is a good change of scenery. I normally listen to audiobooks at double speed, but I changed this to 1.5x so I didn't finish it as quickly as I normally do. This book makes me want to listen to Taylor Swift love songs. If you're looking for a cute book with a cute romance, pick this one up!

This was really good, but damn they were slow to catch on to each others feelings.

I really liked "Accidental Tryst" and looked forward to "Inconvenient Wife" featuring the other Montgomery brother. The book in the series just didn't do it for me. It was the standard best friends are pushed together romantically because of a ridiculous will requirement. It was okay, but not one I would recommend.

Friends to lovers. Marriage for convenience. Marriage for inheritance. Right person, wrong time. Dual POV. Parallel timeline to book one.

The tension made my hands tingle. Gwen and Beau are the perfect childhood best friend who stayed close into adulthood. They did not let their secretive adolescent crushes become a reality. However, their adult problems dig up feelings that have lingered and maybe even intensified. Yet both rather hide these feelings than face the fear of admitting the feelings are real. However, the rest of the story was no very realistic. It was so rushed: offer, rejecting, kiss, silence, little more than kissing, admission, and then happily ever after.

I also love the Tristen cameos! This may also be because I did enjoy book one.
