I like Leo's character so I'm biased. The progressions in this volume are slower-paced, but there's still a goal that's not forgotten so I'm quite okay with it. The new characters introduced are cool. Just a tad too slow for my liking, and the cliffhangers in this series are literally steep cliffs and you get shoved, not nudged, to the edge.
