I originally reviewed this a 3.25⭐️ this morning. However, it’s almost 18 hours later and I cannot stop thinking about it (hence the upgraded rating). Seriously, it’s like these characters have sunk into the crevices in my brain because I’m still not over this/them. The beginning of this book had me so annoyed and angry at the mmc. It was so much back and forth/Stockholm syndrome banter that I wasn’t sure what to expect in part 2. But ohhhh buddy, strap on your big girl pants because part 2 is a fucking wild ride. Everything makes sense, the pieces of the puzzle fit and it makes me so much more excited for part 3. BUT THEN?! Oh god…I’m going to stop there because I’m going to start crying just thinking about it. Seriously, just read this book. The plots pretty good, the characters are fucked up (in the best way possible) and the spice is incredible. Like, bam, first page. Just read it.
