Updated review (9/6/23):

I still enjoyed the story, but definitely not as much as the first time. I had a really hard time with all the miscommunication. It all seemed petty and childish that they couldn’t just sit down and have an adult conversation about everything. Other than that, like I said originally, it was a cute fun story that I enjoyed reading.

Original review (4/17/19):

Loved this book! I have read a few of these authors, but Not all of them, and I enjoyed this so much that I now need to read all the books.

A sweet and clean romance story with some real life depth to the characters. They fall for each other, but their relationship doesn’t come easy. I love how realistic their story is. Not only was there depth, but they physically made me laugh out loud. I thoroughly enjoyed the read!

Finished Falling for Centerfield after discovering Sophia Summers a few weeks ago. Of course I loved the second in the series. I really enjoy when the story continues and you get to learn about all of the friends in the group. I especially enjoyed that he was a little nervous around her and he had to work up the courage to speak up and follow his heart. There was a twist and found it different than the other 98% of books out there. I look forward to reading more in the series and also from the authors who are participating in the story. So sweet that is not full of fillers that are not necessary to gain my attention. I jumped in with both feet and really loved this one.

This one made me feel kind of icky. Not that it’s dirty, but it was just off. I despised both main characters. She’s all for strong women, but she’s incredibly weak. He’s just an arse. No thanks. I’ll try the next, just because the first was okay.
