This book misses a lot, but to date, it's probably the most complete book on Coffee mixology. That said, it should be clear that this book is definitely a heterodox mixology book. Many of the things within its pages do not clearly adhere to the American standards of what "cocktails" are.

I feel like the titular choice of "cocktail" is telling about what this book is and is not. This is a book used at home for odd culinary entertainment or for a restaurant with a curious drink menu. This is not a manual for a bar to introduce coffee or a cafe to introduce alcohol. Yet to do these drinks well, such a culinary space needs to be also both skilled at coffee and mixology. This book requires A LOT of its audience for about 1/3rd of its drinks.

Fortunately for myself, I have training in both coffee and alcohol, but as a casual interest would likely find this book daunting to use, and a bartender would likely think this is chaos to fit into a menu and work with.
