I mean, how much can you say about such a short book? I don’t usually mind insta-love, but this was next level (and not in a good way). Had a few hot sex scenes 3🔥. Jeremiah seems like a total sweetie. It takes less than an hour to read so it’s not necessarily a waste of time but I can’t say I’d recommend it either.

Not going to lie, this was pretty cringe. The Tessa Bailey dirty talk was fantastic as always though

The instalove is so egregious! Just uncalled for.

I really liked the characters in this, the only thing that could have made it better was if it was a full length story.

Love it!

I loved this story when I first heard it on the Read Me Romance podcast. And I had to come back to it for the epilogue. And I enjoyed it all over again.

So Tessa is 2 for 2 for me with her Read Me Romance Titles. I've enjoyed both - perhaps this one even more than the last. I just really liked the hero so much. He's big and awkward and lets people walk all over him - kind of reminds me of a giant teddy bear. Looks intimidating but really is the sweetest thing. I love that the heroine sees him in a way that others don't - its like she sees the teddy bear instead of the awkwardness and imposing giant. And I loved that finally being SEEN makes him grow a bit of a backbone. I also really enjoyed the conflict and misunderstandings that happened to propel the story forward. Overall, it was a definite plus and another reason I need to get to more of Tessa Bailey's books!

I love Birdie in Getaway Girl, so I was so excited to read her story. This one did not disappoint. I love the instalove and development of their relationship. Tessa Bailey balances it soo well. This reminded me of Hefy by Jessa Kane.
