The ending couldn't save this one. They were too frustrating through most of the book.

I wanted some light reading and this was it. I usually do not read romances.
I picked it because I read it paid homage to one of my favourite comfort films: You've got mail, and it does.
At times, I felt it was too teenager, so I am definitely not the target reader. There were some clichés and some details that could have been explained better.
*SPOILERS AHEAD

I would have liked that the accident would have happened maybe later in the story and it would have helped the protagonists get closer. I thought that cliff hanger in the chapter was very good!

I really enjoyed the 'saving the bookstore' plot, but I didn't really care for the romance.

This book is way longer than it needs to be. Thankfully, I had the audio book so I was able to speed up the narration. This is “enemies to lovers” but it’s not really, because the enemy is one-sided. The characters are 18 and 19 but seem to be in their mid-late twenties/early thirties. This was good to have as background noise while I did some chores around the house, but I would not be able to sit for hours and read this.
