Ghosts, mystery, Mellie is stupid again. There is more drama around the cistern in the backyard with rumors of yet another treasure hidden in the Tradd Street house. Basically a decent story but Mellie & Jack are tedious. 2 stars.

This was such a great entry into the series...my only complaint is the cliff hanger ending! I'm ready for the next one RIGHT NOW :)

It was so good to be back in the Tradd Street world. I had forgotten how infuriating Mellie can be. I wanted more to do with the spirits and less with the Marc Longo saga. I was also annoyed that this is now the second (I think) book that deals with Veronica's sisters ghost and yet Mellie can't find a few minutes to help her friend. It was sad to see that the behavior in Mellie that drives me crazy is also what causes this book to come to a close without a happy ending. Regardless of how annoyed I was by somethings, I still enjoyed the book and can't wait to see how it all ends in the next and last book.
