A fun volume! (Spoilers for later volumes ahead)

Nanami realized her feelings for Tomoe and was promptly rejected. When she went to beach with her friends to cheer up, one of them got pulled underwater and Nanami asked Tomoe to save her. Since he went into the ocean, the sea dragon king came to settle their debts (read: Tomoe totally wrecked his palace and stole his eye of longevity like 500 years ago in order to save his dying lover who Nanami possessed last time she soul-travelled to the past). In order to save him, Nanami went to the past again, this time soul AND body, and got the dragon's eye, which is in her own body since as far as I recall she's the reincarnation of Yukiji. Also, Mizuki is Nanami's second shinji now. Fun times! 4 stars.

We love a beach episode!! But also the confession scene kills me every time. Mizuki is a familiar now too and I’m just loving the pacing of the manga. So satisfying how each volume is wrapped up nice!
