Read for university (for a paper), it was easy to understand, fun and really interesting.

A theory-based approach to understanding how comics are written and read. It isn't for everyone--it's very dense!--but I really enjoyed this book!

This has to be an essential reading in the medium, and non-fiction on writing in general, of the last decades. A genius work that should be studied thoroughly by anyone interested in comic books. And a medium-defining masterpiece still unmatched today. McCloud is now under my radar.

A masterpiece, in every sense of the word. Now excuse me while I go daydream about teaching a course with this as the primary text.
