It is definitely worth listening to, hard to believe that Anthony Ray Hinton can still be an intelligent, thoughtful and caring individual. Thankful for Bryan Stevenson, the Equal Justice Initiative, Anthony's best friend, mother and others who stood by his side.

Am emotionally, stirring, sad,sad story of the life of an innocent man condemned to death row. Every aspect of the trial and appeals process was unbelievably leveraged against any hint of freedom for this innocent Black man.
The work of Bryan Stevenson is unparalleled. He has continued his work with tenacity, faith, and determination to continue to bring awareness to the severe injustices wrought on Anthony Ray Hinton and the multitude of others he works so hard to obtain justice for. Gratitude is an understatement.

Phenomenal! So incredibly moving and deeply frustrating to read about the injustice to Hinton.

What a powerful story. My goodness...what Anthony Ray Hinton had to endure because of racial prejudice and yet, he forgives and he loves. He was sentenced to death row for a crime he didn’t commit and he spent nearly 30 years in prison, but he has no hardness in his heart. He is a better man than most. God bless him.

I cried through this entire book. I can’t come up with any words good enough to explain the complex experience of reading it. It’s uncomfortable and it’s important. I wish it was required reading, especially for Americans.
