This may be my favorite of the series so far. Adam and Mercy just work so well as a team in this one.
Graphic: Death, Violence, and Grief
Moderate: Confinement, Cursing, Kidnapping, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Panic attacks/disorders, Rape, Sexual content, and Car accident

This almost felt like two books. The first fun and the second rushed. Really do think this one should have ended with the villain reveal and then had the next book deal with taking that bad guy down. Because, as the book is the take down feels rushed and frankly undeserved.
Moderate: Panic attacks/disorders, Racism, and Kidnapping
Minor: Racial slurs

Yet another awesome Mercy Thompson (or should we say Hauptman now? XD) novel. I love Patty Briggs so ridiculously much, and cannot possibly say how amazing all of her books are. READ THEM.
