What a great book filled with recipes, resources and reachable goals to having and living a waste free(ish) life.

The author does an amazing job of encouraging the reader without making you feel bad about the waste you do create.
She states it’s a slow and hard process to be waste free. She says that she’s not even waste free all the time. She offers the reader tidbits of information to simply live well.

This is a great book to have on hand and keep in your arsenal if recipe books.

The format is beautifully laid out and could be a handy resource for anyone looking to create their own products and food, and who also has the time to devote to trying the various procedures and recipes. It's also a lovely book to just sit and peruse.

So many good ideas I was overwhelmed. It seems like incorporating one or two recipes/ideas into daily life at a time would be an easier approach that diving in. Would check out again!

Definitely a beautiful book with a lot of helpful tips. However, I did not care for the VERY LARGE portion of the book that has subs for medicine. Such as elderberry syrup, cough/cold remedies, etc. I would have preferred more recipes for things that use a lot of plastic in stores rather than pseudoscience for medicine.

Such a valuable resource! I checked out a digital version of this book from my library and then promptly ordered the hardcover. This will be a staple in my home library!

I like the idea of this book, and I know I had a similar one to treat as a Bible in my twenties. These days, though, I’m old enough to realize that I already do a handful of the prescriptions in this book, and another big handful seem unlikely to get incorporated into my life, if I’m being honest. Three suggestions, though, I’ve jotted down for later (including birdseed ornaments to make with M). I’ll call it a win.
