I thought the first book was insane but this one took it to a new level. And I freakin loved it!

So fast paced and so unbelievable, The Six Sacred Stones took me all around the world looking for massive diamonds that will save the world!

Sounds crazy and lame right?

Nope.

It was great and the insanity and invincibility of the characters is the only thing keeping me together right now. Otherwise I wild be a blubbering mess after that finale!

But I'm not because Jack West Jr is surely invincible and will come back and finish saving the world in the next book. Right?

I sure damn hope so!

Gripping. A bit violent in places, tense in most but a good read.

Mannnnn, even though I didnt read this right away, the absolute audacity of Matthew Reilly to cast his best hero off a bottomless abyss as a cliffhanger - I mean come on!

Full of action. The Harry Potter message encryption method was very clever. Shame I didn't realise it was the second of a trilogy until I finished the book.

Didn't mean to be away from this series for as long as I was and I doubt I'll be away as long with the way this one ended! Now that's a cliffhanger! I liked the ending, you kind of have to suspend your disbelief with these stories and a small part of that for me is the pacing or rate at which insane things happen. I can buy or at least overlook, the constant discovery of ancient or lost cities and sites and artifacts, but the timeline always bothered me, everything happens in a matter of days because it has to, it always a race to complete the ritual (there's always a ritual) to save the Earth and obtain mystical powers as a bonus. People might question it, like really? That's my biggest complaint? It is though, what are the odds? I'd kind of like a bit more exposition and explanation of the history of the place/artifact. It's there, but a breather wouldn't hurt. This book (series) truly is nonstop action.
I hated that Solomon Kol, a minor character, gets killed off pointlessly, why couldn't Zoe volunteer before he was decapitated? Really? Why? There was no point to it. I also never bought Jack died, I still don't with the way the book ends, it's called the Jack West Jr. Series and we're only 2 books in.
I love that this ends on a cliffhanger with multiple character's fates in the air and it spares me suspending my disbelief at frequency of crazy events happening. I need the next book!

Since 'Seven Deadly Wonders', Mr. Reilly got me hooked with his style of writing. He got me at the edge of my seat most of the times... but somehow left me unsatisfied at the end of this book.

Jack West, Jr. and his multinational gang is back! This time, the adventures are more dangerous, the enemies are stronger, the challenges are trickier and the destinations which we are taken to are simply fascinating.

This one is a page-turner. A winner all the way.
