Another hot and tasty book by "the smut with a plot" queen!

Lenora summons Ramanu, a bargainer demon, to get back a stolen family heirloom. Ramanu is excited because they have had their eye on Lenora for awhile. Lenora is not exactly happy with Ramanu's terms- 7 years of service, so she decides to try and get back the heirloom herself. Ramanu tags along because they want to go to the Shadow Market. During their time together, things start to get hot and heavy between Lenora and Ramanu... and boy, does it get steamy!!!!

A Deal with A Demon #4
Peculiar Tastes #2
The Demon’s Bargain

“Hello Little Witch”
“Demon”

“If you touch me again, I’m going to take it as an invitation.” “I just attacked you.” “Baby, that’s practically foreplay.”

I love Ramanu everything they did for Lenora was just too perfect.

Lenora got herself in quite the spot and is desperate for help so she does what her grandmother did and summons Ramanu and wants to strike a bargain with them. Lenora thinks she is smart enough to convince them not to make the deal for seven years as she doesn’t want to give up her life and doesn’t trust many people because she knows she can do it herself and better. But this time she might have to let someone else in and help her will she let in Ramanu?

The chemistry between these two was instant, and Lenora is fighting the connection, she has some things to work through first. That doesn’t mean that Ramanu will give up though. I enjoyed this quick read as well as seeing more of Ramanu and getting inside their head. This was quite the adventure these two went on. I can confidently say this is my new favorite book from A Deal with a Demon. Ramanu met his match with Leonora.

Thank you @yulies_book_nook for once again reading another great book with me

I had to read a monster romance with a nb main character/love interest. I just don't see nb characters all that often, I might not be looking in the right places but anyway it's really nice to see. It's nice to see characters that are like yourself.
Otherwise, an okay story though I do wish it'd been more fleshed out, and longer. I'd have loved to read more in depth about Ramanu and Lenora. I'd say the most negative thing about the book is a couple of missed typos that are a bit distracting.

I knew this was going to be a quick read going in, it's just over 100 pages after all. Even still I found it pretty underdeveloped, almost everything happened as thoughts in the characters heads. There was very little actions happening. I loved both characters though so it really made me wish them and their story was more fleshed out.
The ending with Kristoff is one of the main reasons I can't rate this any higher. They talked him up as being super powerful the whole time just for Ramanu to take him out in no time at all and Lenora got her amulet back. I get that it's maybe to give the sense that Ramanu is incredibly powerful but it just ended up falling flat for me.
