Get ready to take the ride of your life up to the Penthouse!

Yes I need a Lucas Ford in my life!

My cherries were oblivated to mush when reading this book.

Soo much hot, dirty sexy times with fun twist and turns of Lucas Ford & Abby Medford story.  Their chemistry was instantly off the charts hot & I loved that even though they both are from different worlds, they start to discover that maybe they are not so different after all.

Abby is a naughty naughty girl.

She had me surprised with each chapter I read of how much she is sooo not  who I thought she was.

Oh, and get ready to fantasize about your favorite musician being Lucas Ford coming to life.

Love guitar playing Lucas Ford style!

Yes panties will combust & you will want to rock out as well as want to find out which hotel in real life you can have your own NightShift fun.

This seemed more like erotica than romance, which wasn’t what I was looking for.

Abby is just trying to get herself through school, working full time and going to school full time she doesnt have time for much else. There is no love interest and she wants to keep it that way, that is until HE walks into the hotel she works in.
Luke is a rock star but his heart just isn't where it needs to be, he wants to write the music he wants but is under contract. He is holed up in this hotel for a week trying to this album done.
To make this work, Abby and Luke strike a deal, she helps him and she gets him in return for a week and at the end of that week it's over and he will be gone.
What happens, can this work?

Ooooh! You almost got me!
Spoiler For a moment I thought that this wasn't going to be the typical girl-meets-boy, boy-loses-girl, boy-wins-girl ending. I really thought she would just learn, grow, and move on with her life with a new outlook. But nope! Happily ever after, fairy-tale ending out of nowhere. Which actually worked better for me since it took a slightly unexpected turn before getting there.
Best Misadventure thus far...

Is it really over?? I yelled "Nooooo" when I realized it truly was.
Where do I start...

You would think that Lucas and Abby are two completely different people, that is until you get to know the real Abby (and don't worry, it's hinted at from the start). These two are hot together. They work. They click. They challenge each other.

Let's be extra honest for a second. Lauren writes some seriously hot sex scenes. And I do mean SEXY HOT. This book doesn't stray from that. But let me be clear in saying there is such a strong solid story about being you: Do what makes YOU happy and don't worry so much about what others expect from you.

I also got emotional during one scene. It about broke my heart, and filled my eyes with tears. It was then that I knew without a doubt that this book will be read again... And probably again.

What else can I say?

This was a sexy, hot, engaging and enjoyable story. That although I found a little hard to get into, soon caught my attention. As the characters were likable, the story was fun, and full of heat. Yet it was balanced well with the overall storyline. Which I found to be an unusual and interesting take on a Rock star romance, and for me thats what made this story so different and enjoyable to read.

This book is perfect for anyone who loves the rock star bad boy type. Not sure it's my thing, but I did like the book to a certain extent. It did get a little repetitive at times and slow. Other than that, this book definitely has an audience that would like it.
