Cute little romance story. Kept me entertained and the story was quite nice. Rather predictable and a little bit ridicioulus at times (probably just me) but I still liked it and the characters. Would recommand if one needs a romance recharge.
I also like that the side characters have a personality. Even if there isn't mich time or necessaty for it.

I completely fell in love with this book. I feel like it had a great range of emotion. Tyler is a widower and Meg recently lost her mom so death and grief is a big part of the book but it was written so well to not make the story too heavy. It didn't overshadow the fun, light moments but it also wasn't breezed over. It was a great balance. I loved all the planned "spontaneous" moments that they created and the flirting. Some of my favorite things were: apples, the kitchen, Little League, pizza, cookies, and the broken water pipes at the playground. Such a great well rounded romantic comedy!

Okay, so this is my first book from this author and my god this is so hilarious. It had me cracked up a lot of times while reading this.
The story was light and very likable for me.
I also want a hot single dad for myself hahahaha.
The side characters are so hilarious and cant wait to read their own stories too.
My only complain is though the chemistry, the attraction and the sexual tension is there, I still feel the love story is lacking. I think it centered much on Meg’s problem about being compare to Tyler’s ex wife and her struggle with his father’s new relationship.

I was a bit skeptical leading into this book and wasn’t sure what I would think. I don’t always handle second hand book embarrassment and cheesiness well. ;) I have to be in the right mood for it.
Well, I was pleasantly surprised as I really, really enjoyed this book! I didn’t find it too cheesy at all. Maybe because it portrays a lot of genuine, deep emotion besides just romance. I enjoyed watching the characters grow, especially Meg. She had a lot to deal with and grow through. She is a fun and relatable leading lady.
I’ll be looking out for more books with this family. :) (there will be more books won’t there? ;) )
