The first book was definitely better and the overall plot of this book was just ok but I loved the new characters tyson genuine might be my favourite character and that ending, plus just more character development for existing characters from a character perspective it was very good.
Minor: Death, Bullying, Body horror, and Injury/Injury detail

Another good read. Though I liked the plot of the first one a bit more

Spoiler
Here are some scattered thoughts: The references to The Odyssey were hilarious. I appreciated that they gave Clarisse some character depth, but some of her actions in this book just made me want to facepalm. Loved the focus on Annabeth's feelings and trauma - the Siren scene was heartbreaking. And I love Tyson. I wasn't expecting him to be, but Luke is actually a good and threatening antagonist. The concept of Kronos is still so dark for a middle grade book, but I'm definitely not complaining. This series is crazyorchidlilly's review against another edition
