An old favorite - love this series and reread all the books each year.

I liked the story, but am not a fan of the narrator.

This is the first book in this series that I’ve read and I absolutely loved the world that she set up for this one! A bit of sci-fi with the paranormal. Fantastic stuff. I like that she use a lot of the same principles that she has in her other series and in this one too. It made it very easy to get into this world because I didn’t have to do too much world building

I'm always a fan of JAK and Harmony Series (in addition to her Arcane Society Series). I'm always loving the interaction between her two main characters. It took me a while to get into her futuristic setting under her pen name Jayne Castle though, but once i'm in, i'm in.

A futuristic matchmaker buys an alien artifact at her dust bunny's request. Private investigator, Davis Oakes, tracks her down and sparks fly. However, other nefarious interests are also determined to acquire the artifact.

Appreciate the double-edged sword message of technological advances for good and evil.

I was a little disappointed at first to see this one was shorter than the others, but it turns out it just didn't require as many pages to convey the story.
I like that books 3 & 4 are expanding on the types of abilities. I got excited because the Arcane Society was mentioned in this one.
Silver Master had the love at first sight trope, but I was mildly annoyed about Davis' blatant hypocrisy toward the beginning. Claiming not to be interested in ever getting married one day, then blatantly stating the opposite the next. He knew he was lying when he said it the first time, because love at first sight trope.
Dust bunny shenanigans are best shenanigans. They were little trouble makers in this one. I love that every dust bunny has a way of accessorizing.
