Do yourself a favor, fellow Sakura Hime fans. Don't read the Viz Manga synopsis for this volume. Just don't! Because it gives away a lot of the plot twists within this final installment and quite frankly, that's rather rude. Go into it without knowing a single thing of what is to come and I promise you, Tanemura's last book of Sakura and Aoba's destiny-defying romance will certainly hit you right in the feelings box.

This did not end how I thought it would. There were definitely more twists and deaths than I expected.
But overall I’m pretty happy with it. It was messy and sad, but I think it worked out pretty well. I think it probably worked out the way it should have. Mainly Sakura’s story—I think hers ended the best. Some of the others just make me sad.
I’m not even sure what else to say about this volume. I won’t spoil anything, so I won’t go into detail. I’m happy with how it ended, I’m sad, but it was very good.
As a sidenote, Tanemura mentions in the sidebars that she’ll be switching to a different magazine, and working on a more contemporary series next. I hope it gets picked up as the series gets longer, because it sounds good, and her books are really always worth it.

THE FEELS
did i expect my sparkly shoujo to end with an affirming message about how to find meaning in your life? no i did not but i should have because honestly, i read fruits basket, i'm not that new
i adore almost everyone in this manga (enju is and forever will be on notice, idc about your tragic backstory you murder creep) and like. the happy with pockets of tragedy ending worked for me. 5 stars

This was a pretty good ending, and I'm glad the story wasn't dragged out for another twenty volumes. It was just long enough to appreciate the characters and the story.

That was such An amazing series there was so much going on the hole time and that I wasn't able to guess the ending was a refreshing change. I really wish that there was more to read. I love the characters and the art style if your looking for something new this is a great series for that.
