will my hiatus ever end? idk. but i’m sick in be and the time felt right to marathon tcow.

anyways, it was overwhelmingly *fine*, i liked the small town atmosphere, slow burn romance and qUiRKy heroine. i wasn’t rocked emotionally bc i read the trigger warnings, and that was potentially why it was an ok book.

anyways, life is too short to read the second one, so thanks to everyone who game me a rundown of what happens in their reviews

"But that’s life. It’s fluid, always moving, always changing. You either flow with it or you drown."

SUMMARY:
When a new neighbor moves in next door, Salem tries to win him over with kindness and cupcakes. She's sweet and the neighbor, Thayer, is always slightly grumpy. His son, Forrest, is always joyful, on the other hand. At just 18, Salem begins to start a close friendship with her 31 year old neighbor. She shares secrets from her childhood & together they go through some of the most challenging times.
