I absolutely loved this book, the interaction between Knox and Jojo was brilliantly written. The relationship of tutor and school quarterback was such as sweet way for them to get to know each other. I love the way that Jojo was able to help Knox with his learning disability. I love how their relationship was built around communication and built towards a more physical attraction. I loved how both Knox and Jojo had friends who would give them honest advice, even if it hurt.

A sweet opposites attract and athlete/bookworm romance.
This story is entertaining and enjoyable.
All the characters are wonderful.
I absolutely adored Knox and Joanna.
Jojo is such a kind sweet young lady. She’s smart and adorable.
She doesn’t much like athletes for personal reasons. But isn’t afraid to speak her mind to them.
Knox is the all American football player. Loves the sport and loves women.
But he needs to concentrate on his studies and playing ball.
So he needs a tutor. Which means he needs Joanna.
I loved how both of them developed and grew.
The way they also grew into their love.
Ms. Murphy combines sweet and sexy perfectly.
Not a lot of outside drama popping up.
But just getting to read these two opposite people falling in love.

This book started out good but the pacing was just really off, and the conflicts were so over the top with no satisfying arch it was just conflict then next page solved. I did enjoy certain moments and scenes and think the characters had charisma but it just lacked any build up for me. Lacked a lot of connection for me to believe the love story or at least for me to connect to the characters also there is a scene
where he flirts with a girl he hooked up with in front of Joanna and like doesn’t apologise
I just felt that there was more spice than plot or substance, just wasn’t for me overall.
