Apart from one petty issue I had with the information regarding 1997's Anastasia (the book calling it Disney when it was 20th Century Fox), this book is very informative but suffers from a lack of good organization.
The main chapter points are interrupted, sometimes distractingly, by information that could be shared later in the chapter instead of breaking up text. Still a good place to start with studying Russia I think. It should be noted though, that the book is from 2002 and does not cover up to the Russia of today.
