A fun read book!

Isinya gosip semua, Ya Lord..

Absolutamente no.

I can’t believe it took me so long to finish the book because it was fantastic.
It never left the back of my mind because I constantly needed to know what Emma would do next. Austen said no one but herself would like the character Emma. She was wrong. I love Emma.
And don’t even get me started on my love of Mr. Knightley!

This book brings me back to myself every time I read it—Emma is like an old friend. As the years pass by, I love it all the more.

Wow, Emma is such an unlikeable protagonist initially. And so many around her even more unlikeable that I liked her less for tolerating them. But I persevered, enjoying the usual Austen subtlety and wit, until Emma grew up.

I enjoyed the story, but I really could not stand the character of Emma. She's everything I can't stand in a person -- arrogant, believing in her own superiority of knowledge and intelligence, and just plain snobby. Even though she improves by the end, she still drives me up the wall, and that made me enjoy the story a lot less.
