I didn't love this book but didn't hate it either. Maybe the writing style or the language just didn't get me going. The story is interesting and I was interested by the characters, but still something was lacking for me overall. Listened to this with Sammy which was nice.

I love how Colleen Hoover writes about domestic abuse. Often in books the abusers are monsters that are frequently violent, but in real life it isn't always the case. This story has so much, friendship, betrayal, abuse and survival. Definite must read!

GOD I HATE THIS BOOK. The writing is childish. The way she addresses the situation is not appropriate. I hate all the characters and there’s nothing really redeeming (although I don’t normally count off points for me hating all the characters).

4.5 that last sentence literally nearly made this book a 5 star. I'm glad it ended the way it did. I loved my first book by Colleen Hoover and will definitely be reading more from her.
