Loved this book from start to finish, couldn't put it down. The description of the Alaskan wilderness makes you feel as if you are there. Totally mesmerising, can't wait to read Kristin Hannah's other books.

This book made me feel a lot of things, good and bad, and somehow all of them positive feelings.

Within the gripping pages of "The Great Alone," Kristin Hannah takes us on a journey of resilience, love, and the untamed beauty of Alaska. The story is like a series of amazing events, each with its own peak and twist that left me amazed.

The characters are loveable and their relationships are beautifully written. My favorite character was Large Marge! Just like her name she was large but she was kind. She's gentle and protective of the weak, yet strong against the rude.

Kristin Hannah writing style is truly amazing! I love every prose she wrote, it's almost like I need to highlight everything! The description of Alaska is almost indescribable. The story is smooth and flowy, it's perfect!

I could feel the fear that Leni and her Mama felt. I fell for Matthew just like Leni did. I understood why Leni's mom couldn't leave her dad. I ached just like Large Marge ached seeing Leni's and her mom's struggle. I felt the joy of Alaska. It's a really emotional book and it was well written.

There are no flaws! I loved every bit of it! Even the narration by the audiobook's narrator deserves a 10. She was able to mimic the characters and emotions perfectly, adding to the emotional impact!
