Yep, the world's oldest surviving complete novel is mostly poop jokes!

Read it for a course. Found it enjoyable and weird but liked it! Professor's knowledge and insight helped make it a great read!

My favorite Roman-era story. Lucius is such a pathetic character that you love him for it. Loved the stories of the Greek/Roman Gods that pepper throughout this novel.

I read it for Psyche and Eros, but the story turned out nicer and funnier than I expected. It was quite an enjoyable read, but I'm not sure Lucius learned many lessons during his adventures and received the character development and wisdom one would have expected from such a tale!
