Oh geez that was awful. This was not at all what I expected. It was pretentious, confusing, and if there was a point to it I have no idea what it was.

3.25⭐️ A mixture of David Cronenberg, David Lynch, and a touch of Gaspar Noè. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Definitely recommend for people who love “weird” stuff

Beautiful prose. I read this book in one sitting. The author’s writing truly brought this disturbing world to light. However, I feel like the end was a bit anticlimactic compared to the bones of the story. I wish the more supernatural elements had been explored a bit more, rather than leaving the ending so open to interpretation. Overall, I enjoyed this novella. It was worth a quick read.
