Amazing book, I have loved Zander from the beginning, and I couldn't love his story more. He wears his heart on his sleeve for all too see. Aloha, that girls is a straight hot mess, she needs some Zander to help her navigate life. What you don't realize is Zander really needs her too. She is loud, vocal, brash, and daring. There is all sorts of emotions at play in this story, and I just kept saying to myself, Zander, dude, get ya life together; however I know how that early love can leave you wanting more, and thrusting yourself out there. I get it. Zander is a cut up, but not like Keane, or his brothers, I would equate him more as Colby than any of the others. I really loved this story, and I cannot wait for the last brothers book, I know it will be epic. This story is told in dual pov.

Thanks to KU for a copy so I could binge this one of a kind series! I love love love this series so much and Zander’s book was so so good. Five star worthy series!

What did I like? This family is amaze balls. I just loved reading them... and they have such cute nicknames.. Alohaha. Aloha and Zander just clicked so hard it had to be kismet. Zander takes a job as her bodyguard and the chemistry was off the charts. This book was so cute and quirky...just an amazing read.

Would I recommend or buy? Yes...read the whole series. All the books are good and the characters intermingle. I just loved all of them.... kudos for such a good series! Hilarious and wonderful.

Thoughts for the author? This author is currently an auto buy. I’ve loved everyone of her books so far, and have bought Kat’s trilogy and the Reed Rivers trilogy. I can’t wait to have a whole shelf of Lauren Rowe books! Kudos for great writing!

Mister Bodyguard is the fourth book in the Morgan Brothers series, but I am going to preface this review to say that while it can be read as a standalone you almost need to read the previous books in the series (I highly suggest in publication order rather than series order) to appreciate the bromance, the inside jokes, and the banter between the characters. There are long chapters-length scenes of dialogue between groups of characters that a new reader just entering the series that just won't get while long-time readers of the series like myself just eat up.

Anyway, Mister Bodyguard is all about Zander Shaw, best friend/wifey of Keane Morgan (Ball Peen Hammer) and honorary Morgan brother, and former Disney darling turned mega-pop star Aloha Carmichael. Zander was just hired to be Aloha's new bodyguard/babysitter on her three-months long, multi-city tour and his friends just bet that he'll bang her fall in love with her before the tour is over. Zander is adamant that, contrary to his usual MO, it won't happen: one, he's been warned by his new boss that he'll get his balls ripped along with being immediately fired if he touches his new ward, and two, he's nursing a broken heart after being dumped. But, then he meets Aloha and they just click in every way--instant best friends plus an undeniably chemistry that hard to deny. And Aloha isn't denying the fact that she's into Zander in a big way and Zander knows he's in big trouble--not just with losing the bet but actually falling in love...

Aloha is one of the most fun, most open heroines I've read in a very long time. She was hilarious and so endearing--lol, a female Keane indeed!--and I love her! I love the banter between her and Zander, and how she just says whatever she's thinking to him. As for Zander, he was just as wonderful as I remember him being in Ball Peen Hammer and I am so happy he got his own book so we got to know him better. I love the friendship that formed between him and Aloha. Actually, one of the things I love about Lauren Rowe's books is that her characters *really* talk to each other--we learn character back story and other info through dialogue rather than inner dialogue, which I think is rather refreshing.

Mister Bodyguard was such a fun book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Getting back into the world of the Morgans and their friends is always a treat--they are seriously one of the best families in the romance genre if not THE best! There's just so much love and good humor between them all and with every book we get in the series is a chance to hang out with them again and this is exactly what we got in Mister Bodyguard in addition to the swoon-worthy friends-to-lovers romance between Zander and Aloha who were just sooo cute!

If you're a Lauren Rowe/Morgan Brothers series fan, Mister Bodyguard is a MUST-read. If you're new to Lauren Rowe/the Morgan Brothers, start with Ball Peen Hammer (followed by Captain and Hero--yep, publication order rather than series order) and make your way to Mister Bodyguard--you won't regret it!

How do you follow up after Ball Peen Hammer? We get Peen's best friend Zander! and his story was almost as funny and just as sexy and loving. Zander is a relationship man so it was funny to watch him try not to fall in love with Aloha while she did everything she could to get him to fall in love with her.

My original review was deleted. Which is very disappointing. I'm not sure if it's because I quoted the book or not so I'll keep quotes out of this review.

This book reads like a romance parody. The nicknames are terrible and what you would hear in middle school. I would share some of them here in this review but it might get deleted since it appears in the pages of the book.

The texting in this book is atrocious and not like how any actual human texts. And the hashtags are out of control. Again, I will not share examples because that may be why my first review got deleted.

Some of the other reviews mention the horrible nicknames and texts.

Overall, this book cannot be taken seriously and the main female character is embarrassing in her behavior. She acts like a 12 year old who is trying to pretend like she's an adult.

I loved this family in the first 3 books but Keane is just so damned irritating in the beginning of this book that I could not get through to the actual story.
The honorary brother seemed like such a sad sack and I just really didn’t like the potential live interest either.

Here's the thing.
I love me some Keane and Zander. The way those two interact? Probably one of my favourite things.

But now, now I've met Aloha. AC. Holy shitballs, I freaking love her. She gives as good as she gets. She doesn't hold back. She is badass.
And Aloha and Zander? Hula Girl & Shaggy Swaggy?? They're bloody magic!! Their banter. Their jokes. Their energy. Their everything. These two together make the world make sense.

When you find the female Keane, you KNOW there'll be fireworks😍

I'm so exceptionally grateful that Zander had to have his story told. Lauren nailed it.

I just have one question... when do I get my Morgan family nickname?? 😉
