Loved this one and would have given it a higher rating if it didn’t keep dwelling on the sex scenes between Auren and Slade.

Like seriously. Did not need all that. Personally not my jam but maybe it is for others.

The twist though?!? Woah. Makes so much sense!

Can’t wait to read the next.

OH MY GOODNESS. THIS BOOK. I CANT EXPLAIN IT!!!

The way I ate this book up because it hooked me right away. I knew that once I finished the second one, I needed to read the third one immediately. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The journey that it took me on was definitely a long one, but boy, was it worth it. I loved the journey that Auren was one, and I'm so glad that she finally broke free of herself and found her power and happiness. Slade and his Wraths are just the family that she needs. AND THE FACT A CERTAIN PERSON HAS A FAMILY MEMBER, AND I DIDN'T CLICK THAT TOGETHER. I WAS BAFFLED. GAGGED. I'm so happy that a certain someone is also alive and another one is dead 😏. BUT THE ENDING. THAT ENDING. IM GOBSMACKED. I NEED BOOK 4 NOW.

HOLY SHIT BALLS.

I'm not sure how I went all this time without encountering a spoiler for this series, but I am so thankful that I did.

Like seriously, for how well known it is that the SJM girlies hate Tamlin,
the absolute ass wipe Midas was
was well kept under wraps! That reveal of who he was in her past!!! 🤯🤯 Absolutely despicable!!

I love the just desserts, but am I a sadist for wanting a more prolonged torture? Like sike, he didn't fully 💀 and is now a villain again in the next three books.

Also, speaking of unlikeable characters, can we talk about
MALINA
?! Like I was expecting an Aelin-Lysandra girl squad up but I don't see how I can stomach that now after witnessing the way she was toward Jeo and her people 🤢 idk about a redemption arc.

Very curious to see how Kalia will turn out. Hoping her brother ousts her.

Oh! And finally figuring out who
Fake Rip
was?! Curve ball!

I am here, frothing at the mouth. What a wild ride!

Best book in the series! That ending was everything but I could not stand Queen Malina’s POV and I mostly skimmed it. Also the first 200 pages were a slog to get through. It would have been a 5 star read if it was not for those reasons.
