That was absolutely brilliant! I was completely shocked! Is there going to be another book? It was kind of a cliff hanger, that ending.

Na het herlezen van 'Pll: The Perfectionists' moest en zou ik EINDELIJK weten hoe het verhaal van Julie, Ava, Caitlin, Mackenzie en Parker zou aflopen én of het ze zou lukken om uit handen te blijven van de politie.
Ik moet daar wel bij zeggen dat ik begin tot midden stuk vrij traag vond gaan. Je krijgt veel herhaling van zetten en doordat je over vijf karakters leest, duizelt alles (ondanks mijn namenlijstje) toch nog wel om de oren. Van een echte band kun je dan ook niet spreken, maar ergens blijft toch altijd de nieuwsgierigheid naar wat er nu echt is gebeurd en wat er nog staat te gebeuren. Gelukkig is daar de eenvoudige en toegankelijke schrijfstijl van Sara die je door dit boek doen vliegen als je je daar even toe zet. En dan merk je dat de spanning er duidelijk wel is.
Op een gegeven moment pik je de hints op van de auteur en denk je: gaat het dan echt deze kant? Ja, zeker wel. Ik vond het misschien niet bijster origineel, maar mijn mond viel toch een beetje open van verbazing!

"He deserves to be punished."
I read this immediately after The Perfectionists, and I ended up preferring the first one. This one was so over-the-top, and I couldn't really take it seriously by the end. Same issues as the first one - too many characters and it was a pretty flat story.

Since I had read the first book In this series I was able to get a better understanding of how the author decided to write this book and it was more enjoyable. I was able to follow the story a bit better, I was still a little confused about which girl was who. And I wish the author would of included a part at the end of the book that jumped us ahead to tell us what had happened to everyone. But all in all a good read.

Amamos un buen plot twist. Muuuuy adictivo y muy entretenido, este sí no lo pude dejar por nada. Aparte creo que aprecio que este spin off no sea como de 500 libros como el de pretty little liers
