E.O. Chirovici shows promise as a writer. The Book of Mirrors has a good idea behind it and it written well for the most part, it just needs some work on detailing the novel so that it keeps the readers attention.

While the climax isn't wow, it is a well-written and well structured novel. Surrounding the death of a professor, there are multiple narratives and plots working against each other, with the constant question raised throughout about who is telling the truth. Good, not perfect first novel.

I received this book from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book so many twists and turns, and made for a great page turner.
So many reviews say that they sat up and read this all night - i didnt, and I sort of got lost at times.
I was fine with the first half of the book, and then the characters change, which was really good - I enjoy books with different perspectives, but I got a bit confused with the character names.
That being said, the book built suspense and had a strong emphasis on memory, I'm a psych grad, and I found this aspect really interesting. It demonstrates the validity of eyewitness accounts.
I hate books with a real cliffhanger, and this book answered about 90% of your questions, but left you thinking about the rest.
Well written, likeable characters and a fun read!
