"It had been Charon saying, 'I know how hard you looked for her...' Hades had wanted her enough to actually look for her, and considering the resources at his disposal, Persephone was surprised he hadn't found her."
Honestly, although this is a shorter book at 203 pages and more of a "popcorn read," I preferred this Hades x Persephone story over A Touch of Darkness. Mainly because the ups and downs between Hades and Persephone over the course of their relationship were more spread out in this book, and better paced, than it was in A Touch of Darkness. Honestly, I loved how this book was set up and how it fits in with the first two books. The spice was great, and Hades and Persephone had some adorable banter that was an enjoyable read. I enjoyed seeing Hades eventually take Persephone under his wing to teach her how to control her magic. Because, let's be honest, Demeter wasn't doing shit in that department.
