Está bien escrito, pero me supera que los personajes principales tengan más de cincuenta años cada uno, y se digan "nena" o "nene". Simplemente NO.
Y el te amo tan rápido... como que tampoco da.

This novella gave us a taste of something more mature. I don't often read books with an older couple but I must say that the writing was certainly vibrant. I have read a few Shayla Black novels now and I have always found them to be somewhat the same formula but I did like this one because it showed us characters that were put by the wayside. Now they have a voice and I really like that. Definitely a good quick read.

A nice little novella to tie up the loose ends with Caleb and Carlotta.
But mostly I loved it for seeing everyone else again and the family (of choice) they've formed, especially since Hunter's and Logan's stories were my favourite of the series and this wraps up the family story.
I see from the summaries there are all new characters from now on (except Thorpe, but he doesn't interest me that much) and I've already read the Santiago brothers's story, so I don't think I'll continue the series from now on, except maybe for Brandon's novella.
All in all, this was a nice little 'palate-cleanser' series, before I plunge into something more, let's say, of such kind to get invested in.
