i genuinely need time to process that this is the end of this series. this was such a beautiful way to end this series. I grew to love, cry, laugh, mourn and celebrate with every single character.
from the minute i was introduced to Santiago in Throttled, i knew i’d love him. he literally has a heart of gold and deserves nothing but the best things in life.
i’m so sad right now.

i completely devoured this book, and loved the characters so so much. it was by far my favourite in the dirty air series, and i adored how chloe and santi we’re there for each other and helped to heal the other one. their relationship was so sweet and genuine and it had me smiling so much i must have looked like a crazy person. santi’s character and journey was so inspiring and i thought that it was really lovely how lauren asher added that level of representation to the series. chloe’s character was also so perfect and beautiful, and i only wanted the best things for her throughout the whole book. although i am very sad to end this series, all of the books have been such great reads, and the found family throughout it is pure excellence. so happy that i have read this!

Tropes/Themes:
fake dating, one bed, spicy bet, redemption, healing from trauma, millionaire, disability rep, and a bit of found family

I liked this book more than I thought I would. And not because I didn't like the others (I obviously wouldn't have made it to book four if I hated them). They were 5☆, 4.25☆, and 5☆. And this is also a 5☆. It's pretty much underheard of for me to have three 5☆ in a series but I loved it.

I bought physical copies of them all before I even got to book three. I'm not usually a sports romance person but it's honestly one of my new favourite series. I haven't even started Dreamland Billionaires but it doesn't matter, Lauren Asher is now an instant buy author for me.

Onto the book though...like I said, I liked it more than I expected to. I feel like the last book in an interconnected standalone can often be the least favourite or least consequential person in the friend group but that was definitely not the case with Redeemed. Santiago and Chloe's story felt just as fleshed out, if not more so, as the other couples. I loved seeing the disability rep, both the negative and positive moments. The inclusion feels authentic and natural.

No spoilers of course but...I sobbed like a baby at the end of the book (in a good way). I've often been called overemotional but I think it was totally justified. All in all, if you're in a slump or just want a good cry, this'll be perfect for you.

5 millions stars!!! 💜 I loved this one with my entire being. Chloe and Santiago deserve everything and more. I love them so much. Santiago had from the first book and this didn't disappoint at all. Noah was also such a sweetheart in this one, I actually loved him a lot which is so funny because I remember when I hated him lol but he really has grown on me. The plot of this was amazing truly. Chloe is so sweet. I am so sad to be done with this series and to be leaving this universe. I feel like I'm leaving a group of friends behind but I loved getting to know these characters and their stories. I'm going to miss them <3

5 MF STARS I KNEW SANTIAGO WAS GOING TO BE MY FAVORITE RACER!!!!
This book was amazing and made me feel like how I felt when I read the heart principle in that I really care and love these characters. Although I don’t relate to them as much I still understand them and absolutely love them individually and together.

I love how Santiago treated Chloe in that he always wanted what was best for her and didn’t like that she had to grow up the way she did. I love how he did things for her because of this too i.e. the mom thing, the dad thing, and even Brooke in the end of the book. I also love how Chloe never pushed Santiago on the subject of racing and his prosthetic. She only ever encouraged him to try to do things that dealt with his last slowly but surely. Also she made sure he was confident, proud, and loved himself before you know because she knew the importance of it like she said.

I love the fake dating trope so I guess that’s just another reason as to why I loved this book.

Lastly, I loved this book because reading it felt safe and like being with someone you love whether familial, friendship, or romantic. It felt safe, comfortable, and sweet even in the third act conflict.
I say even in the third act conflict, because even though it’s a romance novel and I know they’re going to end up together I didn’t feel very anxious like I usually do. You could tell that these characters don’t just love each other but like the book says are IN love with each other. There was never doubt in my mind or theirs that they loved each other even in the conflict which doesn’t happen often in romance novels ESPECIALLY ones with the fake dating trope.
