I may be biased because I saw the movie before reading–loved the film–and was immediately enraptured by the book because of it. I loved how authentic Ove was and how behind his off-putting demeanor he really had a heart of gold and was always willing to help people. The ending made me cry a lot (and I knew what was going to happen!). A super good story with some really great, well-written characters.
The comparison of love to a house was so poetic it'll be in my brain forever.
