Compilation issue, collecting Marvel's 'main-line' Star wars graphic novels, issues 12-18, and set during the period between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi (Han frozen in Carbonite, Luke has fought - and lost to - Vader, etc).

It also crosses-over with the 'War of the Bounty Hunters' collection of comics.

That much is obvious.

What was not so obvious, however - and I had no idea prior to reading this - is that it must cross over with some of the other Star Wars properties: I'm guessing Darth Vader for one. The reason I say that? I found it a bit jarring jumping from 'Vader's arrived!' in one issue to seeing rebels flee in the next, without any context of why or what had happened except for a few speech bubbles referencing events that I hadn't read!

This wasnt my favourite book. I'm not a huge fan of the Bounty Hunter comics, so it wasn't shocking that I didn't find the cross-over to be enthralling.

It was such a cool event that brought everything together! All the comic series, you get more insight in the bounty hunters you see for ten seconds in Empire (I like Zuckus and 4LOM now, and before this I didn't even know their names), the way Solo is now more a part of the franchise, Qi'ra is FREAKING amazing... God. The only negative thing I could say is how a few times half an issue was the same thing that happened somewhere from a different angle. But I actually liked that, it didn't bother me all that much. It made it easier to see _when_ in the story I was. And not all of the companion issued were as interesting. I'm really excited about the follow-ups to this Qi'ra trilogy now! And Crimson Climb!
