i feel like this book had quite a few shocking moments - i honestly didnt see darren becoming an uncle, or mr tall dying but there was a lot more downsides.
i feel like mr tall was a major character and his death was written off in just a paragraph or two. he seemed more willing to shove who the obvious truth about him into the death, and less about the actual dying moments. i also dont understand how someone so magical could die at the hands of a gun, really? hmm...
overall, the book was once again dragged out but the ending was good!

Darren Shan, this ending is by far the most revolting, heartless thing in the world. If this book's ending came out any different i would read more of your books. To have an Uncle kill his own Nephew is fucked up! The fact that it is Steve's child to is even worse....its disgusting!
