Nikad vise razlicitih osjecanja tokom citanja neke knjige... Na pojedinim dijelovima sam morala pauzirati po par minuta da svarim procitano. Nikad vise jeze nisam osjetila citajuci. Karizi nas uvlaci u pricu kao da je i sami prozivljavamo.
Iako je ovo vanserijska knjiga koju bih svakom preporucila, moram priznati da me kraj malo razocarao jer je ostalo donekle nedoreceno.

I tried explaining the basic premise to someone and it sounded horrific... severed limbs, taking children. The author doesn't embellish these elements or even use them as a shock factor - the book is much more about the psychological factors and the mind of a serial killer. Exciting and fast faced.

The Whisperer is that typical thriller book one would search for when needing that burst of adrenaline rush.
However, I feel like the author failed miserably in creating distinct characters; had he not identified each character before a line, I honestly wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference.
Another aspect (not necessarily a negative to everyone but something I personally found irritating) is the fact that the story had that soap opera feel. I’m not sure if it was intended, but my eyes really got tired of the eye-rolling from all the cliches.
Would I recommend it? Eh.... I’m not sure. I can definitely think of better crime/thriller books out there, but I wouldn’t dismiss it either since a lot of the chapters kept me on the edge of my seat. So it depends on what you’re looking for.

Very twisty, gruesome, and suspenseful. I don't usually read books like this, but I'm glad I picked this one up! Couldn't stop reading.

inizia a bomba e verso metà si sfalda e si ricompone come quando mastichi qualcosa la sputi e cerchi di rimangiartela ma chiaramente non ha lo stesso sapore...Troppo complicato per poi finire nel niente. È il primo volume di una saga ma sono convinta che un romanzo debba reggere bene anche come stand alone
