This really isn't my type of book, it just doesn't flow and its always written as if this is on purpose.

I guessed who the serial killer was almost straight off, it was too obvious it wasn't going to be the person that the book was saying it was.

I didn't get the year this was set, it felt like the 80's or 90's but it didn't always show it as that, as if it was mean't to be early 20's. It was far to old school cop for me, and far too much like he'd tried to make him like Sherlock but more social.

Thorne is an interesting main character and i liked the pace of this book. My only criticism is that the characters names were too similar and sometimes i lost track of who the story was on and had to go back and reread! Enjoy this author and look forward to reading some more in this series
