This is so fucking sick and twisted. Like please someone check this man’s computer. So, like a lot of people I was like « hold my fucking beer » when I saw that a lot said they couldn’t get pas page 40. Well I am a fucking dumb ass and I need to do more research before jumping on a book like this. But it’s not just page 40. It’s two whole chapter.

So, in two chapter in a row we have: Rape, pedophilia, SA, Incest, someone masturbating with her mother’s shit, and the author (a man) describing a woman’s genitalia (and cum like he says) with all the words possible (even the worst ones).
I saw some people say «but it helps to understand the characters». Spoiler: not it does not. It’s just for shock purposes.
So yes, this is really bad. And there’s no warning for it. It just happens.

There are some good things in this book, but they can’t make it up for all those things. Especially that the pedophilia part comes back later in the book.

Also one of the character is an ex nazi, he’s one of the bad guy, but it looks like he was given forgiveness for his war crimes (okay I have to admit I kind of stopped reading the book with attention at this point).

So yeah, an horrible book and plus it’s not well written.

TW: Rape, Pedophilia, SA, Incest, Child abuse, Misogyny, Child death, Parent death, Gore, Murder, R-slur, Homophobia, Emotional and Physical abuse, Torture

The idea is good enough, but the writing is juvenile. It felt like 300 pages of a high schoolers writing. The only thing that kept me reading was waiting to see
Greg die
. The wording and phrases weren't confusing; they just didn't make sense in an "I don't think that means what you think it means" way.

It’s a must-read for extreme horror/splatterpunk fans. It’s gross, gory, and tense throughout.

The book is hard to read obviously. Had to say that first.

Besides the gore and abuse and stuff, the descriptions are also bad in the quality kind of way. Think wattpad descriptions of orbs and meat curtains but also probably gory and gross, which definitely knocks the book down to the current rating I put.

Some notable lines that are examples include, but are not limited to:
"like a porn star positioning for the money shot"
"He'd become the embodiment of his favorite fruit snack, Gushers."
"
rosy micro-penis (in reference to a clitoris)

and etcetera.

Good book, but definitely not for the faint of heart (or weak of stomach)
