This was a really great read. Kathy is funny, quick and super smart. I enjoyed how candidly she talked about her experiences with plastic surgery and how open she was about her relationship with her family members. I especially love her relationship with her parents.

Handed to me and recommended by my mentor-teacher where I teach. Seemingly out of character for this man, so I'm intrigued to see what he saw in it. May reveal a bit of what lies underneath his staid and steady facade.

What a wonderful surprise this bio-book turned out to be. I couldn't really call myself a fan of KG before reading the book, and even now I don't know that I'd find her performance humor to my liking, but her writing style pops and I found myself laughing out loud every time I picked up the book.

Surprisingly insightful and just as trenchant as you'd expect. I went in expecting a mindless meandering on celebrity gaffes and foibles but instead got a great look into what it's like to try and break into the Hollywood scene without much pretension or detachment - as well as a good sense of what her family life is/was like growing up. They're just like us! :) A good, funny and quick read.

Fun little read. I skipped over a lot of her childhood stuff, because, let's face it: I only wanted to get to The Dish. The story on Andy Dick killed me, and her random comments about different celebrities was pretty damn funny. Just a nice, light, easy read--what I pretty much needed.

Ridiculously funny and surprisingly revealing. Worth it for the epic 15-minute Andy Dick story alone!
