An extremely disappointing read. I was looking forward to a nice Valentine's romance but this book wasn't it.

The whole book felt like it was just starting. Some subplots here and there (and some of them made no sense except to get some more pages in), overall boring. I have a hard time DNF-ing books and I believe that's the main reason why I kept going.

Both characters are so immature.
SpoilerI kind of like that they ended up together just so I don't have to hear them complaining/pining again.
He fell in love with her from a couple of her articles? And she fell in love with him because he's.... good looking? IDK, the whole story felt shallow and so uninspiring. The writing also annoyed the hell out of me.

I felt like I gained nothing from this and I for sure won't be looking back on this story.

I'm sorry to the author but this was not. my. jam.

The main characters had no chemistry for the first half of the book. When they did have chemistry, it came out of nowhere; absolutely nothing led up to it. They had arguments over stupid things, and then in the next page it's like it never happened and they're back to normal. So many subplots were unfinished and therefore unnecessary as they added nothing to the story. The ending was extremely rushed. Overall it just wasn't that good of a book. Also Chani was just really stupid most of the time, I couldn't handle all the times she embarrassed herself/put herself in awkward situations.
