Odd, but in a good way. Has a Sword in the Stone vibe, if Merlin had been a little more hapless and young Arthur had been a bit quicker witted.

A cute and fun story with two lovely protagonists!
It's a very short book so not a lot happened but I enjoyed this introduction to the series. I also like the illustrations a lot.

Bongasin kirjaston uutuushyllystä sarjakuvan nimeltä Loota, ja nappasin mukaani lounastauolle. Kirjassa Matias löytää laatikon, joka osaa puhua, rakentaa ja jonka sisuksista löytyy vaikka mitä tuiki tarpeellista erilaisiin tilanteisiin (vasara, nauloja, piilopaikka...). Matias ja Loota puuhailevat kaikkea yhdessä, mutta kun Matiaksen vanhemmat näkevät puhuvan Lootan, he jähmettyvät... Heidät saa hereille vain velho, jonka työkalupakkina Loota on ennen ollut.
Noh, en odottanut mitään, enkä nyt varsinaisesti saanut mitään. Sarjakuva on ihan hauska ja voisin hyvin kuvitella vinkkaavani tätä vaikka 3.-4. luokkalaisille, mutta laadukkaampaakin sarjakuvaa lapsille löytyy.

This book was chosen for our fourth-grade Guys/Gals Read, and while I thought it was a fine book - good art, funny, interesting, well-paced - I would say this is suitable more for 1st-3rd grade. It's very short, and not much text, and it would be a perfect intro graphic novel for younger kids.
